Issue #23: Important Member Information.

•May 25th•
Yes, surprise! I'm finally updating. It's been half a year and I'm finally done neglecting my club (the guilt became too much to bear). I already know what I want the next tip to be; it's only a matter of getting started. Keep with me as I try to bring this club back to life. There are just some simple matters of updating.

According to my records, the following members have unfilled pet peeve requests:
~saiyan
*CalequendiElf
~Jawzz
~FireAmy
~darkinja125
If you are on this list and no longer desire a pet peeve, please inform me. If you requested a pet peeve of me and are not on this list, you should also inform me. If you would like to be on this list but have not requested a pet peeve, you should probably follow these instructions.

Similarly, if you no longer wish to be a member, please send me a note. I realize it's easy to lose interest in a club when it isn't updated regularly.

Finally, if you have any suggestions, comments, ideas, or anything at all, simply send me a note. (Comments will be read, but notes are strongly encouraged.)

Thank you for reading. I hope to update regularly from now on.

•Club Description•
Welcome to the Grammar-Nazi-Club!
This club is designed to promote, use, and spread correct English. People who find proper grammar to be an important quality are definitely welcome to our club. However, we also encourage those who would like to improve their grammar to join. We just want to do as much as we can to help those who don't quite know their way around the English language.
We, the Grammar Nazis, refuse to just stand idly by and watch the world deteriorate into a place devoid of intelligence, full of ‘1337’ and chatspeak. We won’t give up so easily, and our hope is that people will contribute to our courageous dream.

•To Join•
Please note the ~Grammar-Nazi-Club if you would like to join, or if you have any questions or concerns. We will be happy to hear from you. After sending a note, please watch the club.
If you want to be listed as a member, you need to send a note to the club; just watching the club will not make you a member.

Yes, that does help. Thank you very much.

It doesn't matter. your dead club, I mean. I'm just glad someone actually bothered to help me.

Good luck with trying to get it back together, if you want to...

Yes, it was indeed a long time ago.

I see what you mean, but the answer is the same. You always capitalize it. Always. In English, you always capitalize nationalities, whether they're nouns or adjectives. Hope that makes sense.

Sorry for my dead club. I just couldn't help but...help you out.

I apologize for any (extremely) late replies.

Ah, I do remember this question! Wow, that was so long ago!

That's not what I meant, though. I meant:

Oh look! A Greek!
Oh look! A Macedonian potato chip.

Actually, I'm not sure what I meant anymore. :( I just remember being told that you capitalize it sometimes, and sometimes not. Um. That was a long time ago.

A dead grammar club!

In answer to your question that you can no longer recall, you would always capitalize it.

The German potato farmer.
I am a Russian ambassador.
An American beet fell onto a potato truck.

:) Awesome, a grammar Nazi club!

I believe I could almost be considered a grammar Nazi myself, but I have one little matter I'd like you guys to clear up for me...

When talking of a person/ object coming from a certain [mentioned] nation, when do I capitalize the first letter?

I am awaiting your response!

Cheers!

It is a pretty good book, actually. It's not as dry as most grammar books
